ARPA FRF ECONOMIC IMPACT RECOVERY PROGRAM: DEPENDENT

Program Summary The Choctaw Nation's American Rescue Plan Act Economic Impact Recovery program will provide eligible dependent minors who are Choctaw Nation tribal members or who are eligible to become Choctaw Nation tribal members, with the opportunity to receive annual payments on a pre-loaded debit card to be used towards necessary expenses. Dependents newborn to 17 years old will receive $700 per year for two years for a total benefit amount of $1,400.

Intended Use Food Security, Student/Child Care Assistance, Internet Access and Technology

Qualification Requirement All applicants must attest that they have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 public Health Emergency to receive assistance. You may also, upon request, be required to provide supporting evidence of this negative impact.

If you are applying for a dependent minor without tribal membership you are required to submit an application to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Membership Services.

Eligible Age: Newborn-17

Applications: September 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022 Applications for dependent minors without a tribal membership card may experience longer processing times.

Benefit: $700 total amount per eligible dependents, newborn-17 years old, per year ($1,400 total benefit)* *Year 2 payments will be made after the application period has closed.
