Band members traveled to Fort Gibson on Saturday, November 3 to audition for placement in the Eastern District Band Directors Association All-District Honor Bands. The following students were selected:
Jon Woods - 1st Chair Euphonium - 8th/9th Grade Band
Noah Amerson - 1st Alternate Trumpet - 8th/9th Grade Band
Ayren King - 1st Chair Trombone - Senior High Band
Dillon Williams - 7th Chair Trombone - Senior High Band
Hayden King - 2nd Chair Euphonium - Senior High Band
In addition to placement in the All-District Honor Band, Ayren King and Hayden King have qualified to advance the 2nd round finals competition for the Oklahoma Music Educators Association All-State Honor Band. Those auditions will take place in December at Westmoore HS.
